Show Low Arizona Adding Public Courts

July 5, 2018

Show Low, Arizona has long been a summer destination for residents that live in the Phoenix Metro to escape the heat.

Weather in Show Low can be dramatic with summer rain storms, but more importantly there is a 30 degree temperature drop, so the cooler climate is a respite for many Phoenicians.

And like all things that are brought up here, include pickleball.

Until recently most play is either indoors at two public facilities or around the many private communities.

Last year the town approved a plan to start building 4 public

courts.

Early this year ground was broken and the residents and visitors are a mere few weeks away from seeing the courts become a reality.

Concrete has recently poured, fencing post are in and construction is well on the way.

We asked city hall how long before the courts are finished and they anticipated completion sometime in August, of course, like all things in Show Low, it depends on the weather.
