2019 Class Schedule Update

January 15, 2019

A complete class schedule is set for 2019 and will include new offerings.  The Winter and Spring seasons offer a total of two beginners and three post beginner classes each with registration opening on November 15th.

Beginners

 

 

This class requires no knowledge of the game. Paddles and balls are provided.

You will learn to serve and return the he ball, how dink and the basics of keeping score.

 

Session 1

 

Beginners - Jan 9, 16, 23, 30 Wednesday’s (Outside) 6-7:30pm  Cost $35

 

Beginners - Jan 10, 17, 24, 31 Thursday’s (Indoors) 9:15-10:45am Cost $35 

 

 

Session 2

 

Beginners - Feb 20, 27, Mar. 6, 13 (Wednesday’s Outside) Cost $35

 

Beginners - Feb 22, 28, Mar. 7, 14 (Thursday’s indoors) Cost $35

 

 

Session 3

 

Beginners - Apr. 10, 17, 24, May 1 Wednesday’s (Outside) 6-7:30pm Cost $35

 

Beginners - Apr. 11, 18, 25, May 2 Thursday’s (Indoors) 9:15-10:45am Cost $35 

 

Post Beginners (Intermediate, Advanced and Skill Levels)

 

Session 1

 

Intermediate Jan 8, 10, 15, 17 (Tuesdays and Thursday)  Cost $40

 

This class requires knowledge of the game and basic shots and technique.

You will learn to improve your shots, make better shot selection decisions, learn team work, and team strategies.

50% of your class time will be dedicated to game development.  50% will be on how to improve your shot selections and technical aspects of each shot.

 

Advance Classes Feb 5, 7, 12, 14 (Tuesday and Thursday) Cost $45

 

Prerequisite for this class is having taken the intermediate class or equivalent. You will learn to master specific shots and when to take those shots in a game.You should be able to accurately place balls in specific areas of the court.  You will learn to become more aggressive in the game and to better defend other players that are equally aggressive.Your skill level should be a minimum of 3.0

 

Game Development Skills Mar 4, 6, 11, 13 (Monday and Wednesday) Cost $45

 

This class requires experience in all shots and basic strategy development

The focus will be on a deeper understanding of game development and strategy will in the game

The majority of the class will be on a break down of game situations, developing strengths and winning.

We will play the game over 50% of the time, and analyze each players performance and understanding of the game.

The class is highly technical in skill development.

 

 

Session 2

 

Intermediate Feb 19, 21, 26, 28 (Tuesdays and Thursday)  Cost $40

 

This class requires knowledge of the game and basic shots and technique.

Game Development Skills Mar 25, 27, Apr 4, 6 (Monday and Wednesday) Cost $45

 

This class requires experience in all shots and basic strategy development.  The focus will be on a deeper understanding of game development and strategy will in the game.  The majority of the class will be on a break down of game situations, developing strengths and winning.  We will play the game over 50% of the time, and analyze each players performance and understanding of the game.

 

The class is highly technical in skill development.

 

Advance Classes Mar 19, 21, 26, 28 (Tuesday and Thursday) Cost $45

Doubles Strategy Apr 22, 24, 29 May 1 (Monday and Wednesday) Cost $45

 

This class is geared towards partners and will focus entirely on doubles strategies, working with your partner. You will learn better court position, game development and communications with your partner.

We will work on shot selection, understanding strengths and weaknesses and stacking as a strategy.

You level should be at least a 3.0

 

Game Development Skills May 6, 8, 13, 15 (Monday and Wednesday) Cost $45

 

This class requires experience in all shots and basic strategy development.

The focus will be on a deeper understanding of game development and strategy will in the game

The majority of the class will be on a break down of game situations, developing strengths and winning.

We will play the game over 50% of the time, and analyze each players performance and understanding of the game. The class is highly technical in skill development.

Your skill level should be a minimum of 3.0
